How to replace the cartridge
- Turn off the water, disconnect the head from the hose and unscrew the lower handle.
- Remove both cartridge elements, noting their position.
- Fit the new cartridge as instructed, close the handle and check for leaks.
There is no separate replacement indicator — follow the recommended interval of about 3 months and never use a damaged element.

Does COCOS soften hard water?
COCOS is not an ion-exchange softener, but per the manufacturer's test it reduces limescale by about 80 % and removes up to 99 % of chlorine. If your water is very hard and you want no limescale anywhere in the flat, you need a separate softener.
How often should I replace the cartridge?
Every 3 months — life confirmed by the manufacturer's test. Very hard water or heavy use may shorten it.
Does the cartridge contain vitamin C?
Yes — alongside KDF-55 and activated carbon. We don't quote an exact dose or dermatological effect — it's part of daily care, not a medical treatment.
Does the head increase water pressure?
We don't promise higher pressure — the feel of the stream depends on your installation and water pressure. COCOS works at typical household pressure.
